Another project aimed toward Ottawa youth, is the Graffiti Removal Project. Youth, along with a facilitator, get involved in removing graffiti from public spaces where they hang out. Armed with the proper tools, youth have the opportunity to have a voice in what makes a public space feel safe by removing harmful and negative graffiti. This program also provides youth with a positive and empowering way to take advantage of the 40 hour volunteer requirement for high school students.
